SILVER SHIELD INSPECTION
This essential inspection covers core components and major systems to ensure the RV is roadworthy and prepared for safe, comfortable travel.
It includes:
- Exterior walkaround to check for visible damage or structural issues
- Tire and wheel inspection (pressure, wear, and age)
- Exterior electrical system functionality check
- LP gas safety test
- Quick review of electrical and plumbing connections
- Detailed roof, sealant, and exterior inspection for signs of leaks or damage
- Suspension system check
- Battery evaluation
- Water system inspection (tanks, water heater, leaks, and pump)
- Interior appliances functionality test
- HVAC system operation check
- Slide-outs and awning inspection
- Convertor system check
- In depth inspection of all life safety systems (gas, safety equipment, tires, and electrical systems)

PLATINUM SHIELD INSPECTION
This is a complete, top-to-bottom assessment of the RV, ideal for buyers, sellers, or full-time RVers who want a total review ensuring peace of mind.
Platinum Shield Inspection includes everything from the Silver Shield Inspection, plus:
- Underbelly and chassis inspection
- Propane system pressure test
- Full plumbing pressure test to check for leaks
- Generator function test (if equipped)
- Fluid Analysis (motor homes and generators only)
- Full appliance performance review
How much is an RV inspection?
RV inspection pricing varies depending on several key factors—including the type, size, age of the RV, and the level inspection package selected. Equipment like the number of A/C units, slide-outs, and complex systems also impacts the overall scope of the inspection. For example, some RVs may have a single A/C unit and no slide-outs, while others have three A/C units and five slide-outs, requiring significantly more time and attention.
While each inspection is customized to the specific RV, here are our general starting prices by RV type and size to give you an idea:
- Pop-Up Campers – Silver Shield starting at $350
- Travel Trailers, Fifth Wheels, and Class C Motorhomes:
- Up to 20 feet – Silver Shield starting at $700
- 20-35 Feet – Silver Shield starting at $850
- 35+ Feet – Silver Shield starting at $1,000
- Class A Motorhomes – Silver Shield starting at $1,200
- Park Models - Silver Shield starting at $1,200
- Destination Trailers – Silver Shield starting at $1,000
Typically the Platinum Shield Inspection cost is an additional 20-30% plus fluid test analysis fee (if applicable), but also depends on size, type and age of RV.

Please note for all inspections there is also a flat service visit fee of $50, plus a mileage charge of $1.25/mile over 50 miles which is only assessed one way from our closest location to you.
