If you are buying any type of RV, you MUST hire Tom and Victoria! Even for a NEW RV! They found items that we would never have discovered and the dealer is working on getting them fixed now. SO much easier to discover imperfections and defects BEFORE you finalize any purchase! Dealer is motivated to get it fixed to make the sale! So nice to have a list, complete with photographs, of all their findings, so you can tell if that item has been corrected or not before taking delivery. The dealer has the list as well, so there is no guesswork. Rig Ready RV gives you DETAILED information about your potential rig you didn't even know. Well worth the investment. Tom and Victoria are a dream to work with and the fact that they are so knowledgable as the are personable is a home run! Cannot recommend them enough!

Fantastic experience! Tom and Victoria are a fantastic team. I couldn’t have had a better experience. I was interested in buying a professionally converted used camper van from a seller in Pittsburgh during a week break from work (I had to make a trip from Philadelphia to be able to see it). Rig Ready RV was key in making that possible. They were able to get me on their schedule promptly ,they did an incredibly detailed and thorough inspection at the seller’s home (which takes most of a day to complete!), they called with preliminary results the same day so I knew an overview of the condition before traveling, and they shared an incredibly helpful, detailed written report with a super quick turn around. All this gave me the confidence to make the trip out to see it. I ended up buying the rig and their inspection has given me peace of mind. They have even shared advice and guidance over the phone since I bought it. Their inspection caught issues I know I never would have found and helped me negotiate a fair price. This process has also helped me have deeper familiarity with my rig and its components and given me insights on what I need to look out for in the future. We hired Rig Ready to do an inspection on a brand new travel trailer at the dealer site. They did a thorough job explaining the scope of the service and what we should expect. When weather impacted the schedule they communicated clearly both with us and the dealer, and went the extra mile to deliver the finished report timely in spite of the delayed inspection date. Although our dealer performs a pre-delivery inspection for new units, Rig Ready does a deeper dive into all systems and found several small things in need of correction. In addition to documenting those clearly in the report they also discussed those needs with the service department so that by the time we requested corrective action the dealer had already handled most of it. The Rig Ready folks couldn’t be nicer people, and the peace of mind this inspection provides was worth the expense.

Thanks to Tom for coming out to my new RV just prior to a month long trip across the country. Had a propane smell in one of the tank compartments and Tom made some adjustments and ran a leak test. Solved the problem days before our big trip. Best of all, he worked with our manufacturer and was able to obtain payment directly from them for the service call. I recommend Tom and will definitely use him again when I have an issue with my RV. He is extremely knowledgeable and gave me several other pointers while he was working. Thanks Tom!!

Back story - My wife and I were buying a new RV from an out-of-state dealer about 7 hours from our home. The RV was left over new 2024 that had been on the dealer lot approximately 18 months. Having been a previous RV owner we knew an independent inspection was a necessity. This review is a bit long and detailed but we wanted to share our experience. The Rig Ready website was easy to navigate, provided all necessary information, without frivolous animated distractions. The website offered enough detail to provide a clear idea of services offered. During the initial phone contact Rig Ready listened to our concerns and patiently answered all our questions. They were willing to work as husband and wife team. This was important to us because men and women look at things differently. Pricing estimates were provided up front and we selected the Platinum level inspection for its additional thoroughness and details. We decided to go with them, scheduled the inspection and signed the contract. Rig Ready spent a full day doing the inspection. We received the report in a timely manner. The report was very detailed with lots of pictures showing everything they checked. Any point of concern was shown in a picture. We reviewed the report then went over it in detail with them. They spent as much time as needed to explain report details and answer our questions. We never felt rushed, or pressured to move on. Nor was any question avoided. Additional follow up was offered if desired. Many of the photos included clarifying comments and were marked to identify the area of concern. The Rig Ready inspection process was smooth. They were easy to communicate with and we consider it money well spent. Without hesitation we highly recommend Rig Ready RV Inspections.
