Our Mission

Hi, I’m Tom Colcombe, owner of Rig Ready RV Inspections. RVing isn’t just my business—it’s my passion. From my early days as an Eagle Scout to years of RVing with my family, I’ve experienced firsthand both the joys and challenges of RV life. Whether tent camping, traveling in pop-up campers and travel trailers, or enjoying 5th wheels, I understand how important it is to have a safe, reliable RV that is ready for adventure.

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and bring 40 years of experience in fluid filtration and electrical systems. As an NRVIA Certified RV Inspector, NRVTA Registered Mobile RV Technician, and RVTI Level 1 (Inspections) RV Technician, I combine technical expertise with hands-on RV knowledge to help buyers make informed, confident decisions. My technical training and experience also help me recognize developing issues, improper operation, and conditions that may warrant further evaluation.

I am also honored to serve on the Advisory Board of the National RV Inspectors Association (NRVIA). I’m passionate about contributing to the continued growth of the RV inspection profession and helping promote the high standards, professionalism, and integrity that RV buyers should expect from a certified inspector.

My wife Victoria, a retired financial and banking analyst, is also an RVTI Level 1 (Inspections) RV Technician and works alongside me in the business. She brings her sharp eye for detail to every inspection and helps ensure our reports are thorough, accurate, and easy to understand.

Together, we treat every client like family and strive to provide the information and peace of mind needed to make a confident RV purchase and enjoy the adventures ahead.

We serve Western Pennsylvania, Eastern Ohio, Daytona Beach, Florida, and surrounding areas, with locations in Pittsburgh, PA; Andover, OH; and Daytona Beach, FL.
